Dr. Sachs is a psychologist specializing in the treatment of individuals on the autism spectrum who also experience difficult co-occurring disorders, such as severe anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Board certified in cognitive-behavior therapy, she maintains a private practice at Spectrum Services in Manhattan, NY and in Park Slope, Brooklyn.Dr. Sachs discusses how she came to specialize in autism, the prevalence of OCD and anxiety as occurrences, and how to treat someone on the spectrum for those conditions.
